Fayette County Library The library is located om 855 South Jefferson. They have a VCR to be used, tapes, and even Internet access on the computer as well as books. There is a kids page for the younger audience with history links, science encyclopedia, math and games.

Fayette Genealogy This site is full of historical information. Historic cemeteries, communities, families, war records, marriage and divorce information. There is significant history about each Fayette County town. Also there are some County Government links. However, it appears that some of the records have not been updated since 2001.

Historic Old Town Shiner Also known as H.O.T.S., Historic Old Town Shiner is an organization set about to preserve the historicity of Shiner, Texas. They have many old homes in the city in which tours are conducted frequently. They have a beautification walk where they have done some extensive landscaping using bricks and have beautified the city with their crepe myrtle project. They also promote seasonal activities for Christmas, the Bocktober Fest, ect.
